BEACH CLEANUP 2017
The Ocean City Gardens Civic Association will sponsor another beach cleanup in October. Our “adopted beach” is located between the Longport Bridge and Wesley Road, and can always benefit from spring and fall combing. We meet at the parking lot next to the bridge, the fall date is 10/28/17 at 10AM. , please join us. We ask that volunteers bring gloves, trash bags will be provided. As always, you are encouraged to bring a friend to help with this worthy activity. YARD SALE 2018
The 2018 Yard Sale will be held on June 16th, 2018. Residents are encouraged to donate items you no longer want, please put aside items over the winter for this event. The sale will again be held at the Cardiff Triangle, off the Gardens Parkway, commencing at 8:00 AM. We ask that donated items are in decent and saleable condition. And, as in the past, we will not accept any clothing. We typically have refreshments, including homemade baked goods, for sale to satisfy your thirst and appetite. We would appreciate any baked goods you wish to donate. BIKE PARADE 2018
Wednesday July 4, 2018 will be our 42nd Annual Bike Parade. Once again, in conjunction with the intermediate school and bike safety, our design contest is underway. The winning student’s design will be reprinted on tee shirts available to all participants at the parade. Sgt. Hopely of the Ocean City Police Department is preparing his team, the Fire Department will again lead the parade, and our committee is organizing donors and treats.
